REI Elevated Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how REI Elevated (“REI Elevated,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Jordan Stenholm, collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit reielevated.com (the “Site”), subscribe to our newsletter, book a call, or contact us. We keep the information we collect to a minimum and do not sell it.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address and the message you send.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address (and your name, if you choose to provide it) when you subscribe through our sign-up page.
- Call bookings: your name, email address, preferred time and any notes you add when you schedule a call with us.
- Email: anything you include when you email us directly.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view and the date and time of your visit. This is used to keep the Site secure and working properly. The Site uses only the cookies needed for it to function (for example, cookies set by WordPress for site administration and caching). We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy.
2. How we use your information
- To reply to your messages and questions.
- To send you the REI Elevated newsletter and occasional updates you have asked for.
- To schedule and hold calls you book with us.
- To operate, maintain and secure the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Third-party services we use
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Site and our communications. They process your information on our behalf and under their own privacy policies:
- Bluehost hosts the Site and its contact form. Privacy policy
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) manages our newsletter sign-ups and emails. Privacy policy
- Calendly handles call scheduling. Privacy policy
- Google (Gmail and Google Workspace) is used to receive and manage email. Privacy policy
- Zapier may be used to pass information securely between the tools above. Privacy policy
The Site also links to our profiles on LinkedIn and Instagram. If you follow those links, those platforms’ own privacy policies apply.
4. Email communications
We only send newsletters to people who sign up and confirm their subscription. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing us.
5. How long we keep information
We keep contact and booking information for as long as needed to respond to you and manage our relationship, and newsletter information until you unsubscribe. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, unless we are required to keep it by law.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain uses of it. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.
7. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International visitors
Our service providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own.
9. Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the date it was last updated.
